Mary Anne Benner

Camerawoman, Director, Editor and Producer

Mary Anne is an independent documentary filmmaker and producer focusing primarily on ethnographic documentaries pertaining to social issues. Her work has been used by advocacy groups to bring awareness to domestic violence and childhood sexual assault.

As a camerawoman and editor, Mary Anne has worked on several medical ethnographies, each one told from the perspective of the individuals living with the illness.

As a producer, Mary Anne has had her work aired on a local NBC station in Pocatello, Idaho.

She received her degree in Photograhy with a minor in Anthropology at Idaho State University.
